Experimental cultivation and the quality of malt:

Using our own trial fields, we cultivate new barley and wheat types.

New varieties are being tested for agronomic and technological suitability on our Swabian trial fields. Samples of the harvest are processed in cooperation with Weihenstephan.

Through these experiments, we create reproducible quality improvements in the malting plant as well as in the brewery.

On our fields, we cultivate all varieties certified by the Berlin Program according to the Braugerstengemeinschaft. We are also partners in the large scale trials of the Berlin Program.
